Sins

by Mild insomnia   Sep 15, 2004

Swift, sharp,
Pain, then none; no feeling, numb.
Cold, dark,
Sins, crimson; whispers - wrong.
Stained, marked,
Cross - tainted; ignored - shame,
Dull: shard,
Drenched; hollow, shoulder - blame.

Then it all comes back,
Arguing, abuse, more,
Again, I pray for black,
Thin, shallow, saviour.

Lines: three,
Few, many, then more, all.
Drip; bleed,
Hurt; conflict - hardened - war,
Lost -cause,
Soaked, sorry - partially: cleansed,
Red - pours,
Thick - puddle; no help: sent.

No name, face, no nation,
A one-girl army at civil war.
Return to me salvation,
Please, end it all.
