A Sister

by Bryce Ellner   Sep 16, 2004

I used to remember
All the battles we fought.
I remember all those times you had my back
Through every onslaught.
Now that you're gone
I can't seem to fight anymore
What I had has now left me.
And with it so much more.
Its hard to loose a friend.
Its hard to loose your father.
But you were even harder to loose.
You were like...a sister.

No, but I did lose someone as close as a sister. Her name was Aisha and she was my best friend in the whole world and if I could've traded places with her, I would've in a heartbeat. Dont feel bad for asking, you're not the only one who has and I'm fairly open with it.
