Daddy Did YOu Know

Daddy did you know
that I'm not your little angel no more
that I have a life of my own
but yet I'm still not grown
I've grown to be just like you
I hate the fact that this is true
I've made you cry
but you've made my insides die

Daddy did you know
that I used to look up to you
believing every word you said to me was true
you were like the love of my life
until I found out you cheated on yo wife
you didn't think I knew did you
well guess what she knows too
her heart may have been broken
but mines is left unspoken

Daddy did you know
that you were like my king
always wanting me to have the finer things
you were my GOD
even when you didn't try

Daddy did you know
I don't even want to claim you as my father
your not even worthy enough to call me your daughter
how could you do this to me
I was your one and only
your only biological daughter
and you were my real father
how does it feel to know whats real
to have your own daughter turn on you
I bet you don't know what to do

Daddy did you know
that things will never be the same
you are no longer on my wall of fame
Why did you do it is all I can say
the pictures of us are now slowly fading away

Daddy did you know
that I miss how you were always there with me
now I'm all alone without you... it's just me
