I am global spread out over land and sea,
a vast being that can never feel and see.
I am the taker of life with my winds tearing at the land,
I am the coldness that freezes you where you stand.
I am the rain that beats down on the ground like a foe,
I am the trigger of all life that will grow.
On the sea I can toss a ship or hold hope for a victim afloat,
Either way I will touch anything no matter how remote.
The jungle embraces me with all its life,
And in the desert I cut the sands like a knife.
I am the beginning and end of air,
And bore life and inflict death as I see is fair.
You will bend to what I truly can be,
The only being on this Earth that is totally free.
