My Hero

This is another poem that my friend Meghan F. and I co-wrote.

When I don't know what to do
And I feel like I have no more hope
And I wanna lay down and die
Just fall on my knees and cry

All I have to do is turn to my hero
You're always so strong
You always have the answers
You always know what to do

Some people believe that life is a road
Well, on my road, I guess I hit a lot of bumps

But then my hero comes along
With the strength to carry on

Shows me how to get through
I can always trust in you

I have never felt that I could trust someone in a lone time
So you have to realize
There's a Hero inside of you...
