What really makes us as humans different?
Does it really matter what is shown on the outside?
Why do we care what the people we meet think?
A shallow and dejected society surrounds us,
Hatred is our only tool against the minority,
Mindless drones are all we tend to see, why is this so?
When the majority take their own path in this life,
Why is it that we are blinded so often by ignorance?
Ignorance seems our only step, humanities only path,
Questions answered and answers questioned, what to make?
All that we can do is sit here waiting for the real truths,
Truths of lie, lies of truth, what to make of all of this?
In a world cruel and hard to the core, what are we in it all?
A double society, the popular is loved and hated by all,
People lie and cheat on their best friends and loved family,
With morals this hollow how can we survive in all of this?
Cut and bleeding, I don’t make your heart drip tears,
Shoot us for what we are; shoot us for what we believe in,
What difference will it make for us in all of this?
Wake up to this reality that seems to be so harsh,
In the end we are all the same, stupid, smart, moronic,
And different.
