Shadows fringe on my paper
Two worldly spectrums combine
Hate the darkness, hate the light
As I trace the infinite line.
The light does fade, true and true,
Let those two worlds combine
Light switch flicked on, artificial lights flutter
Lost in the swirling divine

Foreign words, foreign paper
The room to myself, the beast is my own
Why do they test, why aren't they afraid
Don't they know this child has grown?
They just dreamed the child had stolen
A dream that certainly was not his own
Reach for the stars, bright neon colors
We are not grounded, humans have flown

i thought that i could just post my second stanza, the first one is crud, but the second one says multitudes about my take on society and the forced concept.
