Your steel room

by August   Sep 19, 2004

Here I rest in piece
The pieces of me
We're on your steel spike
In my abandoned heart

Over there, my feelings
Bled into your chalice
Which I crafted of steel
In my abandoned heart

Things that I said
Lay breathless and scattered
On your steel floor
In my abandoned heart

And my soul remains trapped
(Gift-wrapped for you!)
Rest in your tiny steel box
In my abandoned heart

Hail the Steel Girl!
Steel statue still standing
Forever sterile as steel
In my abandoned heart

oooohhh, this girl did a real number on me. needless to say, but i liked her for about a year and a half. most of that time was spent in futility, known to author.
