Phantasma

by August   Sep 19, 2004

Dear phantasm sleeps tonight
We should not fear her bite
The rusting, bloodied knife
Will not take my love's life

Years will pass before, at last
Phantasm strikes, cloaked in whites

Phantasma's poisons have dried
Liar's lips bloddy when lied
Her new adaptation is years in creation

Her broken smile, still carved on face
Will be covered with joy's veil of lace
Clock hands swing right
Phantasm sleeps tonight
