Split ends

by August   Sep 19, 2004

The world was divided today
And you said "Let's go our own roads."
So I draw a line down every tree
Half for you, half for me

There was a time when none and none
Was the only way to equal two
Unlike a cloud, when broken, there is pain
Worlds were ours, fraction the rain

We use all to our now seperate devices
Half-arc bridges, into water we fall
I will have no place to live
My home will be the half that you give

Our broken world, our broken faces
You thought our bodies would not snap
Dispair not, I will repair us again
Simple problem, we leave split ends
