I've loved and lost, my heart being the cost..

by Sammie   Sep 19, 2004

Some say it's better to have
loved and lost, than to have
never loved at all.

I believe it, because I
experienced it first hand, a
lesson I learnt, my heart being
the cost.

But I will never regret all the
great times we shared.

I will never hate you for what
you don't feel.

But I will always remember who
you were to me, and just how
happy you once made me.

I will never forget who made me
who I am today.

So I say thank you, for making
me change from a cold hearted,
bitter girl, into who I am now.

But still, I wish that I had your
heart.

Just remember it is better to
have loved and lost, than to
have never loved at all...

Even if a broken heart, was the
cost.
