Fallen Angel

Sitting on the corner of the home
Is a fallen angel, and she's alone
She took the fall from her spot in grace
The left with bruises and cuts on her face
The angel defied the one she loved most
With those words she fell from the post
Hitting the ground she lay there still
Wondering who she should finally kill
Remorse and pain is all she has

Her wings are broken and her heart is gone
She never knew that it would hurt for so long
Crossing her arms and shedding a tear
I hold my wrists in unconditional fear
