My Cats Meow

“Please change my box”
And “ Feed me now!”
Is what I hear
In My cats Meow
I hear it clearly,
I'm not crazed just merely
know the fact he speaks
To me at least a beast
He's thought to most
That host the thought
Cats can't be taught
To say the things
I claim to hear
Like “Hi” and “Bye”
And “I don't care”
But if you had the time
To spare
You'd see of course
That like the horse
Named ED
Who sought the thought's
One thinks to say
Then spoke the words
As clear as day
And way before
You got the chance
To doubt you'd shout
"Did he just speak?"
You swear but here's the test
Just say his name
It's Pup, he's up
And on his way
To greet and speak
And heed your call
Then watch
In shock as he then
Mocks and
Mews the news
Like all cats do
Except that now
You heard his words
Like me at last
You see it now
Just how
I hear My Cats Meow
