Too Much Time on My Hands

by Michael D Nalley   Sep 20, 2004

You say the truth is a waste of time
And the truth is not worth a dime
But what is wealth really worth
Woe to the wealthy on this earth

Time it begs to belong to no one
The truth is like the light from the sun
Keep your darkness I have my own
Don't dare put your darkness on a throne

You should grow up before it's too late
And stop pretending you don't love hate
Do not put your feelings on another
Disgrace your mother, sister, or brother

I can't hold time, or love in my hands
Sometimes I cannot meet life's demands
I need many things but I don't need you
What I need most is a love that is true
