Players rules

Am i just supposed to sit here
watch you play your little game
the same game he played with me
and the rules are still the same
rule number one hurt the innocent
just the heck of it
and don't give a care at all
make sure its a secret
rule number 2 if a friend gets hurt
stick up for the player
because your on the same team
and hes more important then her
rule number 3 play around
fall in love with someone new
then talk trash and rationalize
so more people will love you to
rule number 4 throw someone in the middle
someone who is undecided
the only reason you are telling them(or so you say)
is so you don't have to hide it
rule number 5 join to back stab a friend
with her former flame
that will really add
and spice up a boring game

you expect me to be your friends
but friends consider each other
i cant believe you let him hurt me
and you're hurting someone who's like a brother
I'm not sure what to say
i think you've said it all
go bragging to someone else
cuz that promise took a fall
