You Cried ; I Died

People say you didn't care, well they should have seen you cry. I mean over a girl how often do you see tears come from a guy

When I told you the truth You said you didn't care But it killed us both When I said I could no longer be there

Even when I saw you cry, Apart of me was surprised But I could genuinely tell you cared By just looking in your eyes

No body gets it Nor do they try- but I understand Because I saw you cry

I know you care Or at least you did back then God, you have no idea How much I want to see you again

You lift my spirits And hold my confidence high No one has been able to do that At least not a guy

So I'll always remember That time over me, when you cried I won't forget it. Because at that moment apart of my soul died
