Happy Anniversary Sweetie...

The rain fell upon my face,

as I looked up into his deep brown eyes.

Beautiful and loving,

full of trust and care.

His arms wrapped around my waist.

He whispered how much he loved me into my ear,

bringing a smile to my face.

He held me tight and sang to me,

"I'll be" he said,

and as he kissed my forehead softly,

a thought came to my mind,

"I love you more than anything else..."

And with that he gave a smile.

He bid me sweet dreams,

and parted ways.

He slipped into the cover of his truck,

as I stood out in the wonderful rain.

When he left,

I looked to the sky.

I let the rain fall as long as it willed,

For today I knew he loved me.
