Poor Little Girl

by Jacki   Sep 21, 2004

Sweet young girl
no one to love
no one to care for.
She sits by herself,
Lonely and depressed.
Pushed everyone away
that always seemed
to be getting to close.
Poor little girl
all she had was the
companionship
of a few of her male
friends.
They would take her in
the car and bend her
over the seat.
Poor poor little girl,
just wanted to fit in.
Never realized her life
was on a downward
spiral, close to the end.
Looking back at the
backseat trips,
all the lost female
friends from doing there
boyfriends;
she sits alone in a dark
cold room.
Cradling her stomach
in which bulges from her body.
8 months pregnant
with little twin boys.
Nobody to care for them
Can't remember the
father.
Went through a joyous time
alone, confused no help
or support from the female
influence.
Poor poor little girl
finally has the babies,
hands them over to nurse
and says give them to
a family who will support them,
Love them, and care for them
with every last breath they have.
She leaves the hospital
tears rolling down her cheek
looking up at the hospital
thinking this is last good
memories giving birth to
2 boys who will go in a home
full of love.
She goes to her street
cuddles up in her cardboard box
holds a gun she bough
from a dealer down the road.
Puts it in her mouth
and blows her brains apart.
Poor poor little girl
with no one to love,
always sat alone
always pushing away the ones
that tried to get to close.
If only she had listened,
if only she had tried,
to let someone love her;
maybe her life would have
never turned out to be
such a disaster.
