U Cheated Me

When i first met you everything was fine,
I didnt care about anything as long as you were mine.

You were my lover, my boyfriend, my very best friend,
after four years i thought on you i could depend.

There was not one thing we hadn't done together,
I honestly believed we would last forever.

I dreamed a thousand times of being your bride,
that was before you cheated and stole my pride.

I forgave you for your betrayal, too afraid to be alone,
but the hell i was too face again was then unknown.

I forgave you, but what you did could not be forgotten,
the way you continued to destroy me was truly rotten.

I woke up in the night with her on my mind,
wishing so badly that time would rewind.

I couldn't concentrate, we argued every single day,
you told me you loved me, you were sorry you would say.

Then i found out you had played me once again,
this time i didnt even ask who, where or when.

The second i found out i just stopped caring,
i packed my stuff and moved out of the flat we were sharing.

Before i left i looked into your eyes and felt nothing but hate,
you tried yet again to apologise but this time its too late.
