Still With You

It was March 7th that I went with my friends for a new kind of prancing.
The floor was packed and I got too hot with all of the country line dancing.
I stepped off the floor, on the prowl for some possible unattached fun.
I stood by the fan, not knowing that soon my prowling days would be done.

There was an immediate attraction when you walked up with your friends.
I felt the lust and started my advance; we explored each other with our eyes and our hands.
We held each other close, and wanted more from the moment we started to dance.
It was actually fun to be with someone else that didn't care about the crowd's continued glance.

Our first kiss I will never forget, even though I had too many drinks and shouldn't remember it.
It was so sweet and tender; my body lost control, but when we finished it was your face that lit.
Was it because of the amazing connection, or the fact that your pants were sopping?
I still can't believe that the drink you had just bought me, I ended up dropping.

Who knew that my clumsiness would start laughter between us that could not be contained?
From that time I knew that you had a great sense of humor, and you weren't just plain.
The final thing that night that pulled me in was when you took a stance.
You grabbed my hand, and dragged me to the floor to do the chicken dance!

We exchanged our numbers and held each other tight
Neither of us wanted it to be the end of our very first night.
I hoped that you would call me, so that we could continue.
You did, and now more than 6 months later, I am still with you!
