Haunted Soul (part 2)

by vanessarrr   Sep 21, 2004

That somber face remained that night
With friends who kept me within sight.
One look on every stoic eye,
Had made me sob and even cry.

That silent night of dreadful tone
Had frightened me, it must've shown.
I noticed she was coming near.
She sank and whispered in my ear.

That muted voice rang in my head.
I froze in fear at what she'd said.
A message that I can't explain-
You'd think that I'm no longer sane.

That voice- forever in my mind.
My heart and soul, I could not find.
Alas, I saw the shining blade.
One slash and I began to fade.
