Forever I will look into your big brown eyes.
Glance quickly as my emotions droop away.
Float on my heart as it melts over you.
Watch restlessly as you walk past me.
Call your name & wonder why.
Weep after thinking about what we could have had.
Dry the needless tears cried over you.
Hug my best friend as we watch you drool.
Think about the reasons not to give a second look.
Walk away with my head held high.
Arms reached out for something better.
Inch towards a fun-filled life.
Blow a kiss good-bye to you for ruining a perfect romance.
Give all my body and soul to him.
Forever will I now look into his eyes.
And walk away without a second look.
