Loved To Death

by hayley williams   Sep 23, 2004

He loved her more than life
Craved to have her by his side
Showed her off to his friends
Glowing feeling so much pride

He believed she loved him
Thought she was his soul mate
By the time the truth came out
Saving his heart was just too late

He saw her that winters night
Kissing a man upon the mouth
Two lovers locked up in love
Their hands traveling down south

She returned to him later on
He never told her that he knew
She carried on playing him out
While he pretended he hadn’t a clue

Eventually he could take no more
Something inside him just snapped
After waiting up for her yet again
All while feeling he had been slapped

The clock on the wall read two am
When she returned later that night
Looking to see where her man was
She was met by a shocking sight

The den room covered in blood
Her name scrawled upon the walls
But he was no where to be found
As she searched through the halls

She finally reached the bedroom
Where he lay upon their double bed
Both of his wrist slashed wide open
Her man of four years was now dead

Without her he couldn’t cope
He had truly loved her to death
So at just twenty five years of age
He had taken his very last breath
