Keep laughing.. (Crush)

by Adam Murphy   Sep 23, 2004

Why do they think
this is a game
laughing and talking
to make me feel shame
is it really that funny
that I'm dying inside
while your over there giggling
I'm wishing i had tried
to take that knife
and cut out my heart
I'd even let you dissect it..
Take it apart
I'm sure you'd love it
you could get an inside look
you wouldn't have to try
to read my expressions like a book
i wont cry
you'd probably hear laughter
I'd even help you with the mess
I'd clean up after
and if you really want to
we could search for my soul
if i put it in a glass jar and gave it to you

would you feel whole?
its not really a question
that has an answer
its like trying to find a cure
for that thing called cancer
that kills you slowly
from the inside out
not letting you fight
but making you shout

because you know somethings broken

and its hopeless to fix
as your words left unspoken
are laughed at by pricks
