The Turnaround

by Kris Lynn   Sep 23, 2004

No where to go, no place to call home;
Standing in a crowd, but standing all alone.
I'm in a new place, but yet it stands old;
No room for mistake, so hard to be bold.
Everything changes, people move away;
And soon you learn to live day-by-day.
When you leave what you have, you think the rest is the same;
You think everyone is like you, the only difference is their name.
But everything is different, to you it's all new;
The way they talk and dress, everything they do.
The alien, the outsider, so hard to accept;
You're nothing they're used to, what do you have left?
Everyone says somethings. That is a fact.
But do you choose for it to make an impact?
No more being lonely, no more feeling pain;
They finally understand. It turns out to be your gain.
