Southern Comfort

by Foresaken_Tears   Sep 23, 2004

Tonight I'm going to leave this hell
I'll take this one way ticket
I'll fall in to a silent sleep
Lose my way in this thicket;

Of foggy thoughts and drunken dreams
That circle round my eyes
And stab into my frozen heart
With blades as sharp as knives

I cant stand to wait another day for a future thats not arriving
Or watch as the sky turns to crimson red
As a deathly sun is rising

My weapon of choice is ironically named
Southern "comfort" is about right
If there's one thing that could "comfort" me
Its the end of this sh*t tonight

So whilst i slip down through myself
And a cold, black wave clouds my mind
And my sunken eyes snap shut at last
Eternal sleep is solely mine.
