Our hearts were pure
Love we shared were true
All the thoughts I once had
Were filled with only you

But now things are different
Where did that love go?
Even I do not know the location
Of what's lost long ago

It was you who I craved
Nothing I desired more
But bit by bit through time
My heart you did tore

You wished we were only friends
When I was your lover
So why do you still want me
When this love is over

I feel bad for not loving you
Your pain I wish to mend
This is hurting me too
But I can only be your friend

Pain...
Time will erase
Me...
Another will replace
Love...
Will find your embrace
Happiness...
Will again shine on your face

    WOW. I love the last stanza and how it's set out. the poem is beautiful, the flow and rythm of it is great. i'm sure i know why she still wants you, you never know a good thing until its gone. when she had you she didn't want you- why are so many people like that i wonder. anyways brilliant, magnificent poem. tc xmollyxx
