No More.

Everyone loses something in their lives...
You can lose your hold on love
but keep your hold on to strife.
Everyone wants what they cant have
We reach all our lives.
And that's just the way it will always go.

Well I don't wanna lose anymore
I'm tired of always falling;
never hitting the floor.
And I don't wanna wish anymore
On that star in the sky
That keeps my hopes alive. No more.

I don't care anyway.
There's nothing you can do to tear me down.
He wasn't that great anyway.
So why am I wishing for more?

I don't wanna gaze out my window...
to see his ghost walk by.
And I don't wanna answer the phone...
and hear his voice on the line.
I don't wanna wake up each morning...
and think he's next to me.
I just wanna glance his way-
and know I'm finally free.

I don't wanna keep wishing that
he'd walk back through my door.
I don't wanna hope I'll see him
when I go to the store
I don't wanna keep wishing that he was here next to move.
I just wanna move on forever-
and let this soul be free.

No, I don't wanna hurt anymore
I'm tired of always falling
never hitting the floor.
and I don't wanna wish anymore
On that star in the sky
That kept my hopes a lie.

No More.

Yep, I can't think of anyone who wouldn't be able to relate at least once in their life. I really liked this one.

I thought you stopped writing all together. Yay, glad to see you didn't leave!

  • The lyrics was so touching. Many can relate to this. I am happy that you wrote a poem after looooong time. But if it is from true experience then i hope you feel better. About the title, i guess "No more" is good enough. TAke care hun.
