Infinite Fidelity

by Timothy   Sep 24, 2004

You have continued your straightforward course,
Into the recesses of my inimical, cold heart;
I had the audacity to question your motives, but they have been nothing but honorable,
Please show me more than a glimpse of that impassioned sentiment you impart.

There is fever of excitement in my mind, body, and soul,
When I think of you, see your photograph, or breathe in your presence;
An arousal so deep, it does not relate to sexuality,
I live only for you, exist only in your existence.

How dare I think that your meekness was a sign of insensitivity,
Perhaps your affection is shown in a different light than my own;
Yet, it is still a fervid rapture, in it's own right,
This is a quilt of infinite fidelity we have sewn.
