Oops, I cut too deep

by Shædow Poet   Sep 26, 2004

Temptation, I was giving in
Never, I said I wouldn't do this
Pain, I know I will be aching
Idle, to my emotional suffering.
Curiosity, will it make me feel?

Thank you, for making me do this
Thank you, for triggering my tears
Sorry, that I never told you
Sorry, it's never all my fault.

Silver, my tears, the knife
Sharp, my finger moves across the blade
Wet, is my face with descending tears
Shake, I can not keep my hands still.

Why, do you think I am doing this?
Why, do you think I feel this pain?
How, can you not know you've hurt me?
How, can you ever think you were my friend?

Hurt, I feel as the blade crosses my wrist
Wonder, what will happen if I do this?
Pain, as furious as an ever-lasting cut
Wounded, as a frightened little child.

Oops I did what I said I wouldn't
Oops I cut too deep
Oops I can't stop the leaking
Oops, now I've drawn a blank
Now I'm dead.

Happy?
