Sweet Dreams

In the dark of night beauty sleeps
To the sound of a broken romance
The crystal dreams of a lonely soul
Join in with the cherry rain dance

Surrounded by the wilted flowers
There a single purple rose stands
Crying dragon tears for all to see
Upon the fools paradise sands

Now to walk on water with ease
Leaves many of us wishing blue
Resting in peace with sweet pixidust
Those dark dreams are forever true

NOTE: I wrote this one so quickly i don't really know what most of it is about myself. I don't feel it is one of my best, but i hope you like it. Thanks for reading.

    I enjoyed it. It reads like a dream... all makes sense and yet not one whit of reality.

    This poem made total sense to me. Indeed i liked it a lot.

    Its more like a dream of a lover aiming something which is not in his reach...

    You said purple rose--purple stands for pride and jelousy... I think you meant a red or pink rose there...

    Dragon tears are fake cryings... if i am not mistaken.

    I am not going to annoy you with my interpretations.. But i could even relate to this poem.. It was nice.. Even though you might have written it in some "trance-mode" lol!

    Interesting that you wrote it without really thinking about it...i'm something of a psychology whizz and there are free play therapies where you do things like this....draw or write without any conscious thought and see what comes out....i'm not sure what it means...i think something to do with children...but yeah...veeeerrry interesting Mr Bond..
