Another day to wait
Just another day longing
Another day of never ending thoughts
Another day i wait, each day

And one day i shall know
And one day i shall hear
What has happened through these years
Of waiting, calling, and tears

So maybe when im older
Or maybe in days
I will hear the news
That you now are in your grave

Another day has gone by
Without a call or letter
I dont know what to think
Are you getting better?

I tried to write to God
But ended up not knowing the address
I tried to pray to Jesus
But never got a voice in return

So its now another day
Without knowing what is going on
Another day of pain
Of tears to wash the day

But if your somwhere out there
I'd like to share some thoughts
to tell you how im feeling
To tell you a lot:

Mother i am doing well
Happy, loving, and stronger each day
Im holding on, im feeling great
Its just so hard to tell you and now it is too late

Mother i hope your resting now
I hope youve gone to heaven
I hope your getting treated right
Your love is shining bright

But this is my goodbye to you
I now will let you go
I will face the fact
Your not coming back
I'll move on another track
