Take a Real Good Look

by Tikka   Sep 27, 2004

Take a real good look.
Is it so hard to read
Beyond the cover of my book?
Is it so hard to see
Who I really am,
Who I will be?
I see through my own shield,
Inside being broken
Shattered like a battle field.
There is no one reason,
I wish to express to you,
For to my heart it would be treason.
My sanity lies under my feet,
Crying desperately all alone,
True moments of happiness a rare treat.
I see beauty,
In men and women alike.
Its not very fair
When you call me a dyke.
People like you
Are the ones the world hates most
From sea to sea
From coast to coast.
Don’t judge me
You don’t know me
Don’t tell me that I am wrong
Or that my friend is death only.
I don’t care
If I get through,
I despise your kind
So screw you!

Nice, you kick ass and spare a thought for structure and poetic flair...bold effort.
