Frayed

by Unseen Exposure   Sep 27, 2004

Bloody tears and salty wounds,
Are all these eyes can see,
Fallen hope, a broken heart,
Is all that's left of me,

Sustaining darkness lingers,
In my soul and can't break loose,
Fumbling for answers,
To keep my hidden truth,

But they will never notice,
What it is that can't be shown,
I stay quiet and secluded,
And thus remain unknown,

And though we speak every day,
They all are just so blind,
To the things inside my body,
None would expect to find,

Little hints here and there,
Of who I really am,
But no one ever follows,
They just don't understand,

But I have nothing left to give,
It's all been stripped away,
I'm not living anymore,
And my edges are so frayed...
