Eclipse

by Luke   Sep 27, 2004

As twin shadows become single
As the sun's merged to the moon
Under endless universe
Your eyes will take me there
Even as I'm spiraling, drifting
I see your candle guiding me
Catering to my s.o.s.
Mending my unhealable scars
Make me realize

Guide me, invite me in
Your aura calls me near
Guide me, invite me in
You'll mend me back my dear

As the eclipse rolls over
As the light fades from the world
Still i see your beacon guiding me
burning brighter than before
Realizing what isn't there
On the brink of finding nothing
Was this journey all so pointless
Hit the lights i can't see yours
Make me see

Guide me, invite me in
Your aura draws me near
Guide me, invite me in
You'll bring me home my dear

Black and grey are all i see
'cept for the distant orange
Take the time to see me there
Now i can hear your call
I feel infected, feverish
I hear a distant system swallowing me
I feel nothing, see it all
I can't escape what you've done to me
I sense a trap is coming
I feel the winds of change
and I'm wanderin if you would let go
I still feel your touch

Come home dear, take my hand and we'll follow the spiral, and we'll glide to where we've not been before
I'll be home, I promise
Your light is eternal as is the twins and eclipse above

Hi, I thought that was a really great poem. The ideals were great, and I really enjoyed it. If you want to improve it a bit, you might want to work on the rhyme scheme. Thanks.
