Drip Drop, Tick Tock

by dandy   Sep 28, 2004

Drip drop goes scarlet blood.

Think and act nobody does.

An hour's past, not a soul cares.

Quintessence of the heart nowhere to be found,

drip drop go the boiling tears.

Exploding voices produce madness,

angry arms extend their fury.

Drip drop goes the lazy sweat,
off unworthy bodies unconscious at night.

Awake in the morning coated with guilt,

unworthy of dawn's new light.

Tick tock go the seconds transforming to minutes,

Wasting the hours of life away.

Caressing evil such as an ally,

shunning patience to the core of hell.

Blurry visions of what should have been,
no longer can be; forgotten so long.

Lay down in the dusk, in the dirt of the earth.

Give up all emotions, no longer awake.
