When I hear you sing (dedicated to Delta Goodrem)

by SammiBABY   Sep 28, 2004

Sitting on my bed, listening to the radio.
Blank paper and new pen, nothing comes out though.
Writer’s block is back again.
The thing that stops me from letting out my pain.
But then your new song starts to play
and the blankness in my mind begins to fade away.
You sing the chorus and that is when
words start flowing out of my pen.

I am upset in deep despair,
Thinking life is cruel and unfair,
I contemplate taking my own life
I turn around to go grab a knife.
But I accidentally turn my stereo on
And playing loudly is your gorgeous song.
You inspire me to keep on trying
and you words stop me from dying.

I am angry and I can’t calm down
I turn on the T.V and away goes my frown,
Your video clip is on MTV
I close my eyes and let you sing to me.
I relax and my anger fades away,
I calm down and feel okay.

When I hear you sing, miracles occur,
Happiness comes and sadness becomes a blur.
Your music is beautiful it send my happiness to the top.
Your singing is gorgeous please never stop.
