Tell Me

by Shannon   Sep 28, 2004

Tell me you don't play with death
so tempting with a knife
whisper with your own sweet breath
you want to live your life
tell me you never cried alone
or wished that you weren't here
tell me you never sat at home
gobbling pills with fear
tell me that you never cry
or wish that you were dead
tell me you don't hide and try
to block thoughts in your head
tell me you never kissed the scars
and smiled that they were there
tell me your skin didn't burn like tar
or you ripped your hair
tell me your completely sane
and nothings out of place
tell me death is so inane
and there's no mask on your face
