Darkness Becomes Her

by Amie   Sep 28, 2004

Sitting in this darkness,
quiet is the sound.
My heart is beating,
my wrists are bleeding.
A silent tear falls down my cheek,
my face is as white as snow.
My heavy breathing breaks the silence,
my eyes glisten with fear........
I stand in front a mirror now,
my reflection is a stranger.
Who is this girl?
And why is she so scared?
My head is booming with pain,
I fall to the floor.
Not knowing how,
as I lay in a pool of blood.
I start to stare at nothing,
and feel myself slowly drift away.
I am painless and peaceful now,
my troubled mind is clear.
