When i'm gone

I thought i had a chance with you
i guess i was wrong,
the love i thought you had for me
is no longer there,its all gone.
now the night has gone away
and all my dreams are lead astray,
what am i to do now
this world has done me so wrong.
i think of your lips
as i write these words,
then i think of those sweet lips that brought pain to my heart.
all i do now is sit and cry,
hope that one day you'll return
with the touch of your voice
and remove this faint hearted burn.
now i often sit and wonder
if i could make it through
this life,in a world without you
for this heart could never love another.
without the site of your beautiful face
i am considered blind,
in a world that defied me
and left me no way of breaking free.
i don't think i could make it without you
this world has done so wrong
so all i ask of you one more time...
is to please forgive me when i'm gone.
