Jensyn

It was a normal day,
We were all in school,
Everyone was laughing,
And trying to be cool.

There was one person missing,
And that person was you,
We had no idea where you were,
None of us had a clue.

Somehow word got around,
And we found where you were,
That place was the hospital,
All of us became unsure.

Why were you there?
What was wrong?
Then it hit us,
Like a bad chord in a song.

You had an aneurysm,
Something in your brain,
We didn't know if you would make it,
And we all felt your pain.

Your volleyball team played that night,
Against our big school rival,
We won the game,
In desperate hopes for your survival.

But it was too late,
You had died,
We couldn't believe it,
All of us cried.

Your spirit might have left,
And your smile may have faded,
But your memory will always exist,
And your life will never be shaded.

We miss you Jensyn,
And as we sit here,
We're remembering your great life,
All of our love is so dear.

School was hard for all of us today, and we were expecting her to come bursting through the doors with that big smile that never left your face. We love you babe, stay strong for us.
