I silently weep

What do you do when you have nothing left?
when your heart has all turned to stone.
what do you do when you just need a rest
from always feeling alone?

what do you do when they strip you bare
and leave you with nothing but tears?
what do you do when theres no one to care
and nothing to swallow your fears?

you hide in yourself and you waste away
losing one bite at a time
but remember to insist that your always ok
feed them lie after lie

they'll never see through the smile on your face
they don't care to look all that deep
and though I may laugh on the outside
inside, I silently weep
