I am in Love

by Mustardhart   Sep 29, 2004

Chin-in-hand
Where I sat. Lost in another world,
Beaming with a smile at her thought.
Licked my lips and soon, was frozen
In frigid solitude.
We met a couple of time, talked, smiled
Ate, walked,
But who'd know one day, yes one day
Will soon come and I will be this.. (I don't know)
I heard some steps
O! There was something in them that,
Raised my adrenalin level,
My heartbeat doubled.
From behind me came. She stood alive,
I knew those steps down memory lane
I could retrace those days we walked
My dream world, which held me, bound,
Not long ago, gave way suddenly.
the background was white
and she, wearing purple bikini
A bee buzz past, a wind mild with fresh flower
Silhouette of trees. Fresh grass underfoot,
Tongues barred from speech,
heads in (shame is it?) bowed
Consuming hearts screened from sight
unconcerned ants busily pass by.
Not too far, some rushing stream.
Ageless silence.
My world of fantasy broken,
Fragmented, granulized,
Damaged,reality awaken.
I turned, there she was
Like an acoustic rhythm stimulating a daisy
By the bank of a pond.
My heart ached,
I looked her straight in the eye
I saw the blue twinkle in her eyes.
A broad smile played, showing amazingly
Sparkling snow-white teeth
She stood comely
Her heart reaching out,
She could see mine already ablaze
I was without words but inward screams
Of excitement and slavery
Yes slavery to one so weak
Ruthless, helpless, just as I was.
So alone,
Only smile for weapon, only a heart for a gift
Only those words for agreement.
Her nose rose a little above those fine lined lips
Graciously took her breath,
I guess welcoming me.
And my! Those sparkle again
In her eyes.
I couldn't resist it anymore
My heart played a note
The echo reached its crescendo hitting hard my mouth wall
Mild, soft, but full of strength
Majestic.
Like a mounting volcano
Hitting hard my tongue.
Until with ease, submission and bravery
Said, I love you..
And I'm in love!
She blushed, pretended,
Her voice finally came as torrents of slug
Into my blood.
Cold, warm, but tender.
Against the rail her hands played.
Nervous, but yet in control
I heard in her clean belly-as she told me
I love you too!
What a musical piece?
A screaming laughter
Joy, Love was born!!
What education couldn't bargain
Money couldn't pay for
Age could not threaten
Wisdom couldn't lure
Fame couldn't attract
It was born, and is alive
The God, who gives it, must have so much of it
..She said, "I love fishes"
"I love nets and hooks," I said
"She love swimming"
"I love water"
I dare say we're not opposites
But a composite that are a complement.
We laughed,
hugged, dug each other in the ribs
and laughed.
And,..
How time flies, the sun setting
After a weary day.
The shadows, reaching across.
And we, just beginning,
Glued, lost in each other. All is excitement
..she held my hand as I sang
tears dropped from those eye lashes.
I almost thought it was a raining
She clasped my hand tightly
There was warmth, quite,
There was hearts beating together
Her head went into my chest!
She was at ease and soon asleep.
My hands that never knew tenderness
soon learnt, took her tired, living, loveful being
for a rest.
Her brow thickened, reaching her hand again into mine
While she sleepily open her eyes.
Those eyes again, disclosing the gate way to my beloved's home
Don't leave me,.. she weakly cried
As she surrendered herself to me.
