The unsung Princess

by Mustardhart   Sep 29, 2004

She walked pass my door like a loco
Loud without, but so gentle within
As smooth as wine flows a festive throat
She stands most amazing that fools don?t see
Having this beauty radiating from inside
And a heart that deserves nothing short of adoration
And a humility that speak words
A gentleness that ease pains
A calm spirit that understands rejection
Devotion unequalled in our times
A willing love, that is enough to build a home.

Isn?t it funny how life gets to order our steps?
Divine providence we struggle with sometimes?

I held her scent, watched her walk, talk and reason
Heard her deep cry, her longing for the rains
I can see the veil lifted and a rainbow rising
And a smile exposing a twin glory
Oh how wonderful that feeling is
And sweet its nectar, as I remember
Living with true secrets that speak out
Having butterflies flying in the tummy
And an excitement that is forced aground
By lies believed and fear of reality
Could this be the story of fugitive of love?

There was a Canaan she told of, the other day
I heard the music, felt the breezes, saw the bay
In a painting that tells stories
From a heart far removed from the base
The common place, the ordinary.
From a distance I could hear her panting
Her desperation for the divine
The gale struggling to reverse her focus
Egypt looked closer and attractive still

She held her bifocals with a cleaning gesture
Reaching out sincerely to point
Pointing the wounds of a love let down
And true enough life must continue
What strength, what grace?
What pains is this maiden meeting keeping with it?
Is it of fever or the wounds?
I muse over these and just praise our maker
How strange but wonderful the knowing.
I guess one day I will sing of a new found love
And sure we will celebrate the miracles of babies too
And glory in the sorrows that life inflicted yesterday
Watch some tender fingers bring more babies
And hear the sounds of mercy, grace and love
And never again hear heart renting cry

May be she will be just memories within
Never to throw away, never to despise
A thought to always wish for more
Whose missing is a life time misery
And having daily, a reminder of sins forgiven
A treasure to have and to keep eternally
Experiencing the bliss of heaven on earth
To keep it while it last, and bonded in the next life.
Building a paradise on peace, love, hope, happiness
Daily growing and daily living ..
For the One who, first loved us and taught us to love.
And quietly telling it like this
To the unsung Princess
