I Want What I Can\'t Have

by Wilman Vergara   Sep 30, 2004

Like Odysseus waits and longs to
Be with Helen at home,
There\'s been a man left behind to
Roam.
Floating endlessly in a sea of mixed Feelings and despair,
He is left to pay the consequences
And does not care.
" I look at my hands and your prints Are still there, and the feeling of Your lips against mine which now are Bare. I would have liked to call You my girl, to grasp you as tight As the clam does the pearl. But things Can never go the way you plan, thats Why you let it ride and leave it in Gods hand. I wish that for every kiss I'd pay you with a star, so that when I'm not with you, you can admire Me from afar. I played this game to
Win the ultimate prize, never stopping to Think it would lead to my demise. Things Are changing now, feelings are being lost,
But I have to be man enough to pay the Price at all cost."
