With everything I am and everything I do
my strength comes from you
you showed me the light
you showed me you've got to
be strong
can't let people walk on you
tell them how you feel
in time any injuries you endure
in this journey through life
soon they'll all heal
you showed me not to care about the little things
you showed me what life is about
and made me give a damn
you showed me that im beautiful
both outside and in
and that I shouldn't waste my time on guys that just want to play with my mind
you told me I had talent
and you showed me that you cared
you showed me that you loved me
and told me not to be scared
life has many twists and turns
and at times
it can be dangerous
but no matter what life brings
I know I'm going to make it through
because my strength comes from you
