Lying here inside my mind
Trying to find myself
Afraid of the things I might find
On the hidden inner shelves

Painful things I try to forget
Being dragged up all anew
All the people that I've met
And not knowing what to do

Digging deeper into my soul
I reach into my heart
Inside I find my secret scroll
For which I was searching from the start

The secret scroll is the real me
I don't know whats inside
I don't know what I could be
I just don't know what I'll find

I put the scroll inside my heart
I've decided not to see it
Being what I was from the start
Myself, my being, my secret
