Why did i go to hell?

Living here below the ground
Burning up in hell's fires
Screaming and yelling excuses
Giving the devil's desires

Working my way out
Sweat and tears roll of my check
Working hard to escape
But then i just turn weak

Trying to find a way out
Begging to get away from here
The devil completely refuses
But then i shed a tear

the devil sees this and feels no mercy
doesn't really care if i just cried
I've been bad and made mistakes
but why did i go to hell when i died
