The Gap

Is it wrong for me to feel
This lonely way I do
Like nothing is this world
Seems to be of use

I feel like I’m alone
And no one is here with me
I feel like I’m disconnected
From everything I see

I see these people
Who are happy and content
But that is not the feeling
The feeling that I get

I feel unsettled
Like my world is shifting over
And there is nothing I can do
But stand by and take cover

I feel unfulfilled and lonesome
And there is no one to fill that gap
I feel uncompleted and nervous
The worst has been done my hear is kidnapped
