Written Rhymes

I feel these emotions
That tear me up inside
There is nothing I can do to stop it
I just run away and hide

I wish I could live in
My fantasy world
Then everything would go my way
I would have the last word

I feel like everything
Has just slipped by me
I can’t seem to remember
Who I am or how to be

I wish that I could get back
All the good times
But those memories are past me
Everything is just a written rhyme
